Well, the first quarter of 2018 has been passed and we have seen so much new in CES 2018 already but here is a quick recap of what is coming up in future for us. All competitors’ whether it’s a big giant like Google, Lenovo or it’s just a startup they all are really trying hard to impress the audience. Here is the list of top 5 gadgets of 2018 which will be rocking the plant this year with their amazing abilities. So, starting with the very first gadget below:
The ThinkPad T lineup has come up with some cool and new security features like the IR camera, fingerprint reader and ThinkShutter Camera. The big Chinese giant claims that the ThinkPad T480s is one of the lightest business laptops in its category. Lenovo stated that these devices can get up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge. The Lenovo ThinkPad T lineup will be available later in January 2018. Just when you thought TVs couldn't get more ridiculously detailed, LG goes and announces the 88" 8K OLED panel TV ahead of CES2018, claiming to have the largest and highest-resolution OLED panel ever. Earlier in CES 2016, LG displayed a 98" 8K model but wasn't OLED like today's prototype. It will blow your mind as well as eyes with extra high resolutions of “7,680 x 4,320” pixels those are just quad of 4K or 16 times of 2K (full-HD). A company official also told that it’s comparatively easy to manufacture large 8K OLED TVs, the main reason behind is each pixel can be illuminated/controlled separately. We know it will be available by the end of this year.
Lenovo Smart Display is packed with powerful speakers, a full-HD touchscreen display and most importantly it comes with the Google Assistant. Some of its’ key features are sleek and slim design, compact size to fit easily on study table or side by a bed. It is first introduced by the company in CES 2018. This gadget is introduced as an alternative to Amazon's Echo Show smart display. This device comes in two different versions, one with a smaller 8" display and other with larger 10" display. Lenovo has initially confirmed its availability for the US only, where it'll be launched at the beginning of Q3 2018.
Samsung has displayed its biggest ever modular TV, called "THE WALL" in CES this year earlier in January. The main advantage of this giant wall mounted TV is that it can easily vary its own size. The Wall is a buildup of Micro LED panels that allow variation of sizes including a huge 146-inch display to unique aspect ratios like 1:1 or 4:3. Samsung has announced that this TV will be available to buy from August 2018, but no price has been announced yet.
There is new talk in town that is Vuzix Blade AR glasses. These glasses will change your way of observing the world around as they are equipped with AI platform and can help you in clear a lot of your messy stuff. It’s just like mirroring your own monitor or mobile screen info with you everywhere. Vuzix Blade AR is similar to what Google Glass offers and on top of that it can chat to Amazon’s Alexa and visibility is super awesome than GG (Google Glass). But on the other hand, they are priced way too expensive at around $1000. They can easily be paired with Android devices using Bluetooth 4.0 or through Wi-Fi to the internet.
